Twazzup, a third-party Twitter search engine has announced two new exciting spin-offs of its web-based Twitter service – Twazzup Insights and Twazzup Reader. While Insights takes full advantage of the Twitter firehose stream being a real-time Twitter analytics service, Twitter Reader on the other hand is a web-based Twitter client.
Twazzup Reader
As a web-based Twitter client, Reader lets you get personalized highlights of your Twitter account, search tweets from your friends or lists you follow, see beyond short URL, photos, videos and link previews inline as well as see Twitter trends and sentiments. Twazzup Reader is now open for everyone to try. Simply log in to your Twitter account and you can have a nice view of your Twitter stream.
Twazzup Insights
Insights is a new analytics service which is currently in private alpha. It shows you the number of tweets and retweets about specific keywords on a per hour basis. It also highlights top links about the keyword and list down the top Twitter members who is influencing the trending of that keyword. In addition, Insights also give you hashtags and other keywords.
If you use Twitter heavily for social media marketing, Insights can be pretty useful for getting insights on who is talking about the brand you are promoting and they have to say about it. Â It also lets you measure yoursefl to your competition as well as get useful alerts and reports when you need them.
