Vodafone has officially announced its new suite of synchronised mobile and PC Internet services, launching across eight European countries before year end.
Keeping address contacts, online status updates, messaging services and multimedia in check at home and while on the move, data is automatically backed up and synced across devices, similarly to services such as Apple’s MobileMe but with the inclusion of web data such as Facebook and IM contacts.
Key features include management of different contact groups, geosharing and tagging, recovery of sensitive data if a handset is lost or upgraded, and a range of applications (over 1000 at launch) available from the Vodafone Shop.
Vodafone 360 will initially work on the Vodafone 360 H1 and another exclusive Samsung cellphone, while four Nokia Symbian handsets will also come preloaded with the service.
