Even blogging for your business can get stale sometimes. You can only be creative so much on a business blog before you have to get serious. And, you don’t want to post too much, as well as not wanting to rehash old material.
Why not break up the blogging and the social media marketing a little with some other creative ways to market your business online. There are plenty of options, and these three are all fairly easy things to do that will help get your business more attention.
Make A Video
Videos can do many good things for your business. They offer one more way for people to learn about you and the products or services you offer, for one thing. You can post them on YouTube, your website or blog, and on social media.
Make a how-to video that shows people how to use your products. Create a fun commercial for your business. Record videos that teach people how to fix errors with their equipment on their own.
You could even record a weekly video blog about your business and what is going on there with a look at new products in the works or new employees. People like to get an inside look at the businesses they work with, and nothing will give them a better look than an actual video (aside from a tour, but this way they can learn from anywhere in the world).
Take Some Photos
Your business needs an Instagram account, no matter how large or how small you are. People love to look at photos, especially if they are giving them an inside look at someone else’s world. Take photos of new your products while they are in progress or anything that strikes your fancy.
You can also share these photos on your other social media business pages. Consider making a slideshow with your photos, which is a great prop during meetings and trade shows, and can also be posted on YouTube and other social media.
Create A Podcast
Podcasts are a big thing right now. It’s like a radio show you do on your own and it streams online. There are all sorts of hosting sites for podcasts, and you can share links to your show on your website, blog, and on your social media accounts.
You need a theme, most likely your business, for your podcast. Maybe you’ll talk about industry news or interview people at your business or in your field. The more creative your line of work the more creative you can get with your podcast.
These definitely aren’t your only creative marketing options, but they allow you to do a little something different than just blog and post on social media. You might even want to consider some offline creativity with business brochures, postcards, and even flyer.
