DoubleClick Inc., provider of digital marketing technology and services, announced a new advertising format: the Teaser. The new format allows developers to create high-impact teaser ads with short flashes of video, thereby helping to increase the range of options available to advertisers. Universal Pictures is the first to use the ad format, in connection with advertising for the debut of its action-thriller, The Bourne Ultimatum, starring Matt Damon.
DoubleClick’s Rich Media team worked closely with Media Banners, a division of The Visionaire Group, Inc. and Universal Pictures to develop the Teaser ad format, which is designed to help provide creative with more impact and increased functionality.
