When Google acquired YouTube no one knew what to expect. Today the answers are a little clearer. Google Video will remain but will become more of a search engine for all video online. While YouTube will remain the destination for Online Video, and sales center for video online, a virtual competitor to iTunes.
YouTube is the hub of video online, user generated content and commercial content. Google wants to see it grow into the hub of online video sales. And while its very possible that’s the case it will be interesting to watch this unfold.
