Our report Feb 27 may have been a little premature, with the deleted Blogging Times strangely returning in the last 24 hours.
The old template is back at the site, however although the URL and header still state that you’re visiting The Blogging Times, the sites title has been changed to “abc”, both in the browser and feed:
The links in the feed also dont work, taking users to the 404 Not Found screen.
Stupidly, none of the original content has returned either. At the time of writing The Blogging Times has the grand total of 4 posts with hundreds, if not thousands of previous posts remaining lost to the search traffic that they use to bring in.
The new editor goes by the name of Eddie Daroza, apparently the author of The Rad Report, a down market tabloid/ celebrity blog, and it would appear as a consequence that The Blogging Times is headed down market as well, with headlines such as these:
The “Porno” tag is an interesting touch for what was once a news blog of serious note. Admittedly I shouldn’t be one to criticize typos, but these pictures “own” Technorati? I thought the VC’s owned it, but I could be wrong.
I’d ask the sites owner for a comment, but I think he sort of already gave us an answer to where he’s looking to take the site in this video:
Disclosure: I was previously a paid contributor at The Blogging Times

Hey Duncan, you know what: Fuck you dude. We are working on the site. Most of us have lives outside of the computer. Seriously, would you really insult me and my website to my face? You really need a wake-up call you fucking pussy.
David Krug says
Like Father, Like Son.
Look who’s been banned from my site. :)
Where’s Howard’s nipple. That’s right its in your mouth.

I think he would say it to his face.
I’ve met Duncan ;-)
Martin Neumann says
I agree with Loren: Duncan is not one to hide behind his computer.
And that was the end of that – The Blogging Times (whose potential was great) is now in a total wasteland of utter rot.
The quick answer: One less feed to worry about.

Actually Eddie I would, but in all fairness I’m not attacking you personally, I don’t know you from a bar of soap, although I find it fascinating that the women oriented Glam network runs ads on your personal blog, I never knew Glam targeted that demographic. But back on topic, there’s no insult here Eddie, so 110% yes I’d happily discuss your tabloid/ slutty approach to reporting to your face, indeed I’d suggest it would make for an interesting conversation, I’ve pushed barriers before in terms of taste, but I’m yet to run a feature story on blowjobs…I’m sure you must find such topics exciting :-)

Wow. Hi, Eddie. Welcome to the blogosphere.

Wow, Eddie, way to go! You SO made me want to visit your site… NOT. Why don’t you keep your filthy comments to yourself.
And yes, I would say a helluva lot to your face too.
