The days of being tied to a television or computer to check game scores are finally over with Limbo’s new text alerts to any mobile phone user.

To receive text alerts directly to a mobile phone, all a person needs to do is send the word SPORTS to Limbo’s short code, 41414. A message will then be sent asking for a text with the name of a favorite NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB or NCAA football or basketball team. Scores are sent as soon as the game ends, and there are no limits to the number of team alerts a person can receive.

In addition to sports team score alerts, Limbo offers over one hundred other alert options including horoscopes, jokes and weather. Limbo sends out over one million text message alerts every day. Limbo also provides location-aware social network tools that let members share their location, find friends nearby, locate business such as restaurants and stores, and have group chats.
