SendMe has acquired mbuzzy, an off-portal mobile community in the U.S. market. mbuzzy provides both an online and mobile environment to let people interact, share user-generated content and stay connected while on-the-go. With mbuzzy.com SendMe adds community and social media capabilities to its portfolio of interconnected brands, which also includes SendMeMobile.com and SoLow.com.
mbuzzy gives consumers a mobile connection to the people and things that matter most through mobile social media– such as videos, pictures and wallpapers. The mbuzzy community is home to more than half a million mobile users who have downloaded over 15 million pieces of social media to their mobile phones.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
