In today’s podcast I discuss the illegal imprisonment of cameraman Sami Al Haj, and how the United States has illegally held him at Guantanamo Bay for over 5 years without trial as an enemy combatant. He’s been subjected to torture and is now dying from cancer.

It’s disgusting how the prisoners at Guantanamo Bay are being used by the Bush/Cheney regime as pawns in their bid to seize power not delegated to the executive branch by the Constitution.
Many of the prisoners there were rounded up in Pakistan, where there was a bounty paid for every ‘Al- Qaeda’operative’ delivered to the Pakistani government.
It would be fitting to see Bush and Cheney tried by one of their military tribunals for their crimes against the citizens of the world, if that were possible.

Seriously what we need at this point. This is absurdity what they have done.
