We’ve been reporting about the number of corporate clients that BlackBerry has been losing over the last few months, and this has been further confirmed by a study that IT research company InformationWeek recently conducted.
According to this new study, only seven percent of IT administrators are planning to increase their usage of RIM products. The study was conducted among 530 technology processionals. This result is just a grim reminder of what we have been seeing all these months. BlackBerry is dying. [Read more…]

Spark, a Linux-Powered Tablet, To Be Released Soon
A new tablet is being scheduled for release and this one will offer a completely different experience and environment from the ones we have been used to.
The new tablet, called the Spark, was announced by the lead KDE hacker Aaron Seigo. The new tablet will run an open source Linux operating system. A Linux powered system tablet will definitely be welcomed by the developer community and also by users who do not want to be burdened with using a proprietary system even if it’s free. [Read more…]

Samsung to Release Galaxy Tab 2
I’ve been a long-time user of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0. I love its convenient size, which I think is perfect for emails, browsing the internet and reading ebooks. Even though I love this Android tablet, I still want to experience a different experience with it through the new Android OS, Ice Cream Sandwich. I’ve always wondered when Samsung will release an official update that will allow me to use Ice Cream Sandwich.
Samsung has finally announced that Ice Cream Sandwich will be coming to the Samsung Galaxy Tab. But not in a way that I was expecting. [Read more…]

Firefox Remains Second Most Popular Browser, Chrome still at Third Place
A fierce competition exists among the different web browsers for market share and right now Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome are in the top three.
According to a report published by Net Applications, Microsoft Internet Explorer still maintains the lead with a significant 52.84 percent of the market but it is in the fight for second place that things get interesting. [Read more…]
