Motorola is intent on finishing the year strongly as it is gearing up another phone to add to its product offerings. New information has leaked about a new Motorola phone that will reportedly come out in a few weeks. The new phone, the Droid 5, might become available in time for the Christmas holidays, specifically by December 5.
The Droid 4 will be the fifth mobile phone that Motorola will be releasing just for this year. It has already released the Droid X2, Droid 3, Droid Bionic, and the new Droid RAZR, which was just released few weeks ago.
The leaked information came in the form of both pictures and phone specifications. Based on the pictures, the Droid 4 will look like a hybrid of both the Motorola Droid 3 and the Droid RAZR because of a form factor that marries both the typical touchscreen candy bar shape with a sliding QWERTY keyboard. The Droid 4 will sport a 1.2Ghz dual-core processor and 1GB RAM. The screen will reportedly measure 4 inches. But the feature that will set the Droid 4 apart from its four other siblings is 4G connectivity. The Droid 4 will be able to take advantage of the 4G LTE network that Verizon has set up. The LTE network ensures that you’ll get absolutely fast data transfer rates. It’s the very reason why a lot of people are looking forward to getting a 4G phone.
No price has been announced for the Droid 4 as of yet. Expect this and other details to be released in a week or so.
