One of the things I really enjoy doing is rewarding my feed subscribers. I was brainstorming over the weekend on an innovative way to do this. So I created something called ‘Feed Features‘.
Feed Features will be a daily exclusive article that is served up fresh only to people who snag our feed. I’ve done this to encourage our feed readership and active participation. Many of our Feed Features will be podcasts, videocasts, and other premium content.The Feed Features are served up as a special link at the bottom of each post. So you can’t miss them.
So I don’t want to sound like a broken record but go ahead and subscribe already.

The Rise of New Media Newsrooms
We no longer wait for the morning newspaper to land at our doorsteps. But that doesn’t mean I can’t remember the ‘golden age’ of watching the presses at The Rocky Mountain News in Denver where I grew up. My father and I would go out late on a Friday Night to the old Rocky Mountain News Press Office where you could look in and see the newspaper being published. It was then that I had the first desire in my heart to be a publisher. Little did I know that the media would change so much from the time I was a boy until today.

It allows you tocreate a premium relationship without users paying for it!
Awesome. To me, content should almost always be free. This allows that to happen alongside a premium content model.

What you really need to do is use your influence with Feedburner to add a thankyou page for people signing up.
All Feedburner feeds are public and indexed, so there is nothing really “exclusive”
