The Motion Picture Association of America, Inc. (MPAA), on behalf of the major Hollywood movie studios, has filed lawsuits in federal court in Los Angeles against Cinematube.net and Ssupload.com – Web sites that facilitate copyright infringement on the Internet.
Cinematube and Ssupload both highlight on their sites the availability of the latest in pirated movies that are all too often still in theatrical release. Both sites enjoy significant profits via third party advertisers and user donations.
“No matter how you slice it, the sole purpose of these sites is to disseminate and profit from creative content that has been illegally reproduced and distributed. We will continue to scour the Internet for these illegal sites, and through lawsuits such as these we are putting illegal Web operators on notice that they are not above the law and will face serious consequences for their activities,†said John Malcolm, Executive Vice President and Director of Worldwide Anti-Piracy Operations for the MPAA.
I’m just wondering why this group sued only 2 Websites when a simple Google search for “free movies” will yield hundreds of sites, blogs, and forums promoting piracy. Even Google is indifferent towards piracy, as claimed by a legal watchdog group.

Ok now i know its illegal but when hollywoods “best video producers” re-create a movie .To me feels like piracy also even if not illegal, it still ruins the classics.Like batman,super man,ect.Totally fucking lame.Like for instants
lets say in twenty yrs my children will wanna watch one of the movies they remake.Than they see video that was basically re alterd.Like the newest TEENAGE MUNTANT NINJA TURTLES MOVIE.The original cartoons ever made for tmnt explained how the turtles came to be who they are, right?Well the new movie has it to were they became that way by a different way.totally stupid.TO MAKE ALONG STORY SHORT, THEY REMAKE MOVIES, CHANGE THE STORY LINE AND SLAP THE SAME MOVIE LABEL AS THE OLD ONE.That to me is piracy,I think that every time they feel there gonna remake a movie we as citizens should be asked to vote whether we want it made.
okay, you can buy a dvd take it to your friends house and watch it with a group of friends….is that piracy? because that is what a lot of these sites are doing….they are just sharing their movies….and no one can stop that….you can sue them or take them to court, but a smart attorney will win that case….also, eventually all of these movies will be on tv one day, so what the hell is the deal….It is because actors don’t think that they make enough money, just look at all the royalities associated with the movie and music industry…it is crazy while we have people out there that save our lives every day by risking their own and they make crap….and then these greedy addholes can’t make enough, so they get royalities and all…lets all just face it, our country has gone to shit, morals and all….it runs on greed, envy, hate, etc..this is just one shining example of all of it….
also, it is not the police that are shutting these sites down, the only sites they are concerned with are the child porn sites and they need to be shut down, actually the people involved with making child porn need to be castrated slowly and then go to prison where they become someones bitch for being a child molester….the people shutting the movie sites down are involved with the movie industry….it’s their watchdogs that scour the internet looking for the sites….i have a lot of friends that are police officers and they are some of the best friends you can have and they do put their lives at stake every day….they could care less if you are watching movies online or not, they are busy trying to but the molesters, rapists, murderers, etc….please don’t diss them for this…they have enough to deal with….thanks
