Did you watch the video first before reading this post? I really don’t think that those three fellas would watch New Moon together. Â Three geek-looking dudes checking out screening schedule of New Moon using a Google Android phone? It just doesn’t fit.
Anyway, just disregard the actors in the video and let’s take a look into what they were trying to demo. It’s actually the latest mobile version of Google’s search results for movies.
If you’re a Palm, iPhone or Android phone users, you’re in luck as you can now search for movies and then tap on “More movies” link to browse a list of movies as well as choose a theater where you want to watch the movie (doesn’t have to be New Moon).
What’s more exciting is that movie search results now include movie trailers which you can play right on your mobile phone. Â You can also see movie ratings, posters, upcoming showtimes and practically everything that you would normally find in a normal Google search in your desktop.
It doesn’t end there though. You can also see a map of a particular theater where the movie you want to watch is currently playing (doesn’t have to be New Moon), and find out the showtimes most convenient to you.
What happens next is now up to you. You can enjoy this Google Mobile Search feature if you’re anywhere in US, UK, Canada, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.
