The online scheduling tool Doodle has announced the launch of its premium service — Premium Doodle.
This pay for version offers greater customization features, including the ability for users to create their own backgrounds, upload photos, graphics and avatars, get a personal dashboard, get contact information for and operate the service ad-free.
Six-year-old Doodle currently has around three million users, according to CEO and founder of Doodle, Michael Näf.
Is personalization and a lack of ads enough of a draw to warrant the £18 (about $30) per year annual fee? We’ll have to wait and see. Doodle isn’t the only kid on the block — there’s the massive Google Calendar, Divvy, Calendarfly, Genbook, Jiffle, Mixin, TimeBridge and many more.
