Microsoft announced that it has inked a deal today with Digg.com. The deal makes Microsoft the exclusive provider of display and contextual advertising on Digg.com.
“This move gives us an advertising partner with a larger organization and a more scalable technology platform to keep pace with Digg’s growth,” Kevin Rose, founder of Digg, said.
With this, Microsoft replaces Google’s advertising system within the site. Digg is still expected to work with Federated Media.

Kevin Rose posted in Digg’s blog that Federated Media will be working “on integrated sponsorships and custom programs…”
