Five years ago today, browsing the internet was all black and blue. But thanks to Firefox it has turned orange and yellow.  Yes dear folks we join the millions of people in celebrating Firefox’s 5th  birthday.
With 330 million users worldwide, 70 languages and more than 7,000 add-ons that make our daily Internet browsing experience, Firefox certainly deserves all the accolades.
So, what’s in store in the next five years for Firefox? Should we expect more innovation and goodies?
Of course there should be more changes. The crowded browser space is getting excited lately especially with Google Chrome gradually grabbing some share in the browser market. And the Safari browser getting some headway, Internet Explorer, well yeah still struggling.
There are also new Internet technologies that Firefox must adapt to, like HTML5 and video browsing. These two things are shaping up the Internet market and defining the way users are browsing the web. And that’s where Firefox should come in. Making itself fully supportive of all these technologies.
But that’s for the five years to come. In the meantime let’s not forget it’s party time for Firefox – that includes us users.

Again, Happy Birthday Firefox!
