Paltalk partners with CRN Digital Talk Radio

paltalk.pngPaltalk announced a partnership with CRN Digital Talk Radio to provide live broadcasts of one of Paltalk’s most popular interactive online programs, News Talk Online. News Talk Online is hosted by news veteran Gary Baumgarten and airs live on CRN Channel 5 daily at 5 PM EST/ 2 PM PST. CRN Digital Talk Radio, which features news, information and entertainment programming, is carried by major cable television companies nationally and heard in over 24 million homes.

CRN, which reaches millions of households, is currently broadcasting the audio feed from the live show to its cable affiliates around the country, and will soon be including interactive video features from its online portal as well. By logging on to Paltalk.com, viewers can also interact with Gary and his guests via real-time audio and video chat.

PodTech to stream online coverage of ShowStoppers press event in NY

showstoppers.jpgPodTech announced it will broadcast live video coverage, product demonstrations and executive interviews from ShowStoppers for the Digital Holidays, a press-only event in New York City that previews a blizzard of digital holiday gift ideas for work, home and play months before Christmas, Hanukah, Kwanzaa and Black Friday.

PodTech will stream the coverage from ShowStoppers in New York to its team of pioneering and influential technology reporters, analysts, bloggers, vloggers and podcasters located in Silicon Valley and around the world.

PodTech and ShowStoppers will also host a Virtual BlogHaus Beta at ShowStoppers that includes Internet access for journalists and bloggers to use as they produce print and online coverage from the press event, which features more than 30 companies.

Pearl Jam cries censorship against AT&T

att1.jpgPearl Jam is crying censorship against AT&T after the lyrics “George Bush, leave this world alone” were silenced during the webcast of Lollapalooza.

“What happened to us this weekend was a wake up call, and it’s about something much bigger than the censorship of a rock band,” the band said in a statement posted in their web site.

AT&T is blaming a webcast editor for the incident.
