Cyloop.com unveils online music contest sponsored by Ford Sync

Cyloop.com unveiled its online competition sponsored exclusively by Ford SYNC which allows music fans to win a Ford SYNC customized Epiphone guitar from Gibson, by putting to the test their knowledge about music tastes of Cyloop’s top artists.

To participate in the contest, users need to visit Ford SYNC’s community, located exclusively in Cyloop, which includes a series of “Loops”, or interactive playlists, that have been created utilizing the favorite music from Cyloop artists. Users can then visit the Ford SYNC’s contest page and answer the daily trivia questions related to those songs.

Registered users will accumulate points based on the correct answers. On March 11th, one winner will be drawn among those participants that reach the highest score to receive an original Epiphone DR-100 guitar from Gibson.

meebo releases rooms API

meebo released the meebo rooms API and meebo Network, as well as five launch partners for the new programs – Piczo, Revision3, RockYou, Social Project, and Tagged. The meebo rooms API enable large-scale implementations of meebo rooms for bigger community sites. The API is geared towards social networks, as well as large media and entertainment sites to enable live community on their sites in an automated fashion. To monetize these new partnerships, as well as dozens of existing relationships, meebo announced the formation of the meebo Network, a network of premium community, media and entertainment partners with whom meebo will be sharing 50% of the ad revenue derived from meebo rooms. For partners in the meebo Network that prefer an ad-free integration of meebo rooms, a yearly licensing fee option is also available.
