Jaman.com, Inc., a website that delivers feature-length international and independent films in hi-def, announced that it has reached strategic content agreements with imeem and Netvibes that will provide a growing audience of world cinema fans with more ways to discover content.

Jaman further expands its distribution by providing imeem’s 18 million international members with access to content from around the world through a featured Jaman channel on imeem’s video section. imeem’s active user base and focus on community is a natural fit for Jaman’s community features suchas its movie recommendation tool which utilizes member reviews to help browse thousands of films.

Jaman is also now a featured video partner of Netvibes, leveraging the power of the millions of Netvibes users in over 150 countries to distribute and provide personalized content. Netvibes, an alternative to traditional web portal start pages, allows users to bring together and personalize all of their favorite web services and media content. Jaman will provide movie fans and the global Netvibes community with updates on Jaman films and
trailers they are likely to enjoy and can share with friends across the Netvibes.

Wavexpress announced a new content license with Next New Networks. This license allows Wavexpress to offer a dozen new channels from Next New Networks’ micro-television network on Wavexpress’ Internet television application, TVTonic, giving users access to a total of over 370 channels of online video content.

The new channels being added to TVTonic’s lineup include:

Bleacher Bloggers: The one stop source for the latest sporting news, bragging, belly-aching and blogtificating. As part of Pepsi’s rebranding strategy to sport a “retro” look and feature a variety of its logos from the past 100 years, it has partnered with Sony’s video entertainment network Crackle.com to provide condensed classic TV shows online to consumers around the globe.

Each Pepsi can will feature the Web site throwbackpepsi.com, which will direct consumers to The Minisode Network channel on Crackle.com, where they can enjoy classic TV programs in an all new way.

There are about 18 channels including new programs like “Bewitched,” “I Dream of Jeanie” and “The Jeffersons.”

“The Pepsi retro can serves as a passport to destinations and experiences our consumers enjoy. That’s why The Minisode Network is a great partner for this design — the combination of our can with this site provides a full nostalgic experience. When these shows originally aired, our consumers could enjoy watching them while drinking a Pepsi. Today, they’re able to do the same in a contemporary way,” said Russell Weiner, VP of marketing, Pepsi.
