I think it is interesting to make a radio network more social networked if you will. It is kind of like what the team members at http://www.filmcrave.com have done in relation to movies. Basically, you can write reviews, rate movies, and create top movie lists. All of this is relevant to the overall calculations of the site – making it a true social network. I hope the radio achieves success as niche markets open up much like filmcrave.com has opened it up for movie lovers.

The BBC is trying everything it can to stay in touch with its viewership. The BBC needs the info because of their funding model.
