Mixx, a social news aggregator, has secured $2 million in second round funding from previous investors. Mixx allows users to vote on news stories they think are relevant to friends, colleagues and people who share common interests, with a model similar to existing services such as Digg and Reddit.

The Associated Press reports that Pakistan’s telecoms regulator has lifted restrictions on YouTube and restoring access to the site.
Pakistan ordered YouTube blocked last Friday over a clip featuring a Dutch lawmaker who has said he plans to release a movie portraying Islam as fascist and prone to inciting violence.
