Whether they are customers on your website, social media followers, or people following your blog, you want to keep the readers of what your write and post interested, and in order to do that you need to keep coming up with new things that make them want to come back for me. Here are a few things that you can share in blog posts, link to your website, or plaster all over social media that will peek your customers interest, and probably even attract new ones.
Newsletters
Newsletters are a great way to share information with your customers and clients, and it’s a way to offer something special that they may not get on your blog or through your social media. The thing with newsletters is that you want to have people sign up for them, don’t just find email address and start spamming people or you’ll get yourself into trouble and no one will want to buy from you again.
Make a blog post about your newsletter and tell people what they’ll get for signing up. Also let them know how often you will be sending them, and stick with that plan. You can put coupons in them, recipes, or anything else that works for your business type.
Before sending out your first newsletter, look up some tips on creating one that people will really enjoy. You want it to be easy to read, informational, and since it’s going to come in an email, you don’t want it to be too large of a file.
Podcasts
Podcasts aren’t really as new as they would seem to some people, but they have been gaining much more popularity lately. I podcast is like a radio broadcast, but for the internet. There are many sites that host podcasting, and if your business is missing out you may be missing out on new customers as well.
You can use podcasting much like any other marketing tool. It’s a great way to build brand and company awareness, and engage your fans. Make your podcast into something that fits your business, but doesn’t just sound like an advertisement. Interview celebrities and people that have tried your products or services, and people will definitely show an interest.
Videos
On the other side of the podcast is the video, and it is important because surveys have shown that a billion people tune into YouTube each month. Worldwide. While there, those same people are watching 6 billion hours worth of videos, a week. That’s 6 hours per person, per week.
Videos are an excellent way to show customers how to use your products, and even to do comparisons of products. People watch both how to videos and product review videos on a daily basis, because it literally shows them, hands on, what they want to know and is better than just reading about it.
