Back in 2007 I thought every blog on the the internet would have a job board. But have you checked out the Gigaom Job Board lately? It’s like a ghost town. Even the Blogger Job Board over at ProBlogger is flying with plenty of tumbleweeds.
I’m not sure what to make of it. Other than its proof that Craigslist is still the place to be. Or maybe that this is spells the end of jobs. We could only hope.

ProBlogger’s job boards have never had hundreds of listings – but its been a steady stream of jobs (with a pause over the new year).
I’ll keep it running long term as I think it’s something that demand will continue to grow for over time. Doesn’t cost me anything to run in the mean time and each job advertised helps someone get into blogging professionally and makes me a little coin along the way.
btw – i notice read write web started one yesterday too.

In all fairness, I think this is partly due to the year’s end and the beginning of the new one, although I do agree with David that there’s have been far less blog jobs posted for some time.
It will be interesting to see how the blog job boards will handle 2007.
