TypePad is a hosted blogging platform by Six Apart. It is used by numerous professional bloggers. The service was first launched in October 2003.
There are no free TypePad accounts. They start at a couple of dollars/month and move on from there, depending on your needs for your blog when it comes to storage capacity, bandwidth and so on.
