The Auto Uploader is one of the latest improvements in Multiply that I, and most of us account holders, are thankful about. It is very convenient and yes, it saves us time. I have had my account for about 4 years now and I will not exchange my multiply account with any current and even popular blogging sites. I’m not saying Multiply is perfect, but I believe that it is very user friendly and it offers a lot of features that a lot of blogging websites don’t. In the Multiply community, we refer to our homepages as our personal garden where non-Multiply account holders can visit and see. However as owners we have control on what we want others can see and access.

Multiply has done a whole lot more for me than just save me 90 min. a week. It’s taken a load of worry off my shoulders. I’ve had two friends who both had their hard drives crash and they lost all the digital pics they’d taken of their kids. I’ve gotten good about backing up my pics to an external hard drive, but having my high res. digital pics backed up off site is just that much more of a safe-guard. Multiply also makes sharing those pics with friends and family and snap. And we can chat about those pics in a way that just doesn’t seem to happen on other photo sharing sites. I think the inbox, that gives alerts not only for new posts but for replies on old ones as well, makes all the difference in terms of spurring conversations among my friends and family.
(hmmmm, and on multiply, you can edit your reply to change “and” to “a”. doesn’t seem like i can do that here. rats.)
I am a Multiply user since 2005. Since then, Multiply is a “place to share your life with family and friends from real life”. But, I was sharing my life from that moment and beyond, nothing before 2005, since as it takes time to upload and I have my real life to take care. With the AutoUploader, while I was doing something else, my pictures since from 1998 (first time I’ve used a digital camera) are now ready to share! And while I am checking the images I just took from my camera, the AutoUploader is there doing its job. Helping me to share my life with just few clicks to go. It is making me to share even more things with my family. That is the whole idea of Multiply!
I don’t spend ANY time uploading now. The AutoUploader does it all for me now. No more watching and waiting an upload screen. That was always a deterrent when I was busy. And I’m always busy. Now, I let the AU do it for me. I can do something else online, at Multiply or not even be at my computer – just set and go. Posting to my site from the new Media locker where the AutoUploads go to, is then instantaneous when I’m ready to do so.
With the new premium account holder features, using the Autouploader and the Media Locker, you don’t ever have to post your content. You have unlimited online storage of unposted photos and videos as well. I’ve never used a site anywhere that worked or worked well. This one does!
The Uploader is great for uploading multiple photos to Multiply. It seems to be no quicker at uploading individual photos than astandard upload to a Multiply photoalbum, but because the photos are uploaded automatically in bulk from the designated folder it is less frustrating, as the time can be spent doing something else.
I would not consider any site superior to Multiply when it comes to media-sharing and management. You just can’t beat the quality of the service, the friendliness of the community, and the responsiveness of the Customer Service.
They are great, I never forget a day that I’ve asked a question from their customer support for the first time, and to be honest with no hope to get a response, and the next day I received a response. I was surprised. Then I found their MUDS group, a group dedicated to ease communications between Users and Developers. Then I found that they read each post carefully and they care about our suggestions. Since then, I am always thinking about a similar group for other Software Companies. Just imagine if Microsoft Product Teams come to Multiply and create a group and we can directly talk with them… By the way, I am not using the Uploader because I have not a lot things to upload, but I can say that it is a very nice idea. But believe me, Multiply will take you more time than any other social networking service, you will found yourself there every day, checking your comments, posts from your friends, etc. and your eyes will be on Multiply Toolbar every day, but it would be fun :)

A basic account on Multiply won’t allow you to upload hi-res images, which is really pathetic.
Helloooo! ALL accounts on Multiply can upload hi-res images and them can do faster with the autouploader.
